Katie is an Army veteran who served at Fort Riley, Kansas, and Bamberg, Germany, as well as on a 14-month deployment to Iraq. She is a signed thriller author for Provoco Publishing, writing under the pseudonym KE Jennings, as well as a contributing author to various anthologies such as the Armed Services Arts Partnership Anthology Partnerships: The Untold Stories. Katie advocates for veterans in crisis and is a first responder with QRFup, a veterans crisis response app.
