Kim Vo is assistant managing editor at The War Horse. She was a war refugee who settled in California and spent 16 years as a reporter and editor at daily newspapers, including The Orange County Register, Oakland Tribune, and San Jose Mercury News. She has also worked at U.S. embassies in Brunei, Pakistan, Turkey, and Vietnam.
