March 2023 - Newsroom Founder Selected for Gen. Lejeune Award
War Horse founder Thomas Brennan became the first enlisted Marine Corps veteran to be awarded the Lt. Gen. John Lejeune Award for Exemplary Leadership. Past recipients of the award include Sen. John Glenn, Secretary Condoleezza Rice, and President George H. W. Bush. During the award ceremony at the National Museum of the Marine Corps, two War Horse authors—Francisco Martinezcuello and Russell Worth Parker—were recognized for their writing.
