October 2021 - TWH Wins Prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for Investigative Reporting
The newsroom team was recognized in New York City with the national Edward R. Murrow award for investigative reporting. The War Horse’s investigation into the failed rape investigation and imprisonment of a Marine battling mental illness was awarded alongside reporting from The Texas Observer, students at Michigan State University, and The Marshall Project.
