The War Horse’s writing seminars bring together world class journalists, authors, agents, and publishers with veterans and military family members for off-the-record Q&As. Our seminars are where the best writers of today pay it forward to the most promising writers of tomorrow.
At The War Horse, we don’t just accept difference—we support and celebrate it, and our newsroom and our community thrives on it. We want, in turn, to ensure that a wide variety of voices are present and represented in all that we do. We welcome all current and former Post-9/11 medics and Corpsmen to apply for consideration, regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, income level, disability, gender identity, veteran status, or other personal characteristic. Service dogs are welcome.
The War Horse’s writing seminars are open to writers with varying degrees of experience. Published work is NOT required for acceptance.

Seminar Cost, Travel & Accommodations
