Brian Thompson recently left his job as director of veterans correspondence at Veterans Affairs to pursue a master of fine arts in screenwriting at Boston University. Before chasing the Hollywood dream, Thompson served his country and community for more than 15 years as an Army paratrooper, high school teacher, and public servant.
