Cindy Seipert is an Army and Air Force Reserve veteran who served as a first sergeant in both combat and stateside units, including deployment to Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. Following her service, she worked in information security and leadership development, helping bridge the gap between technical and human systems. Her writing explores resilience, identity, and the invisible aftermath of military life. She lives in both the United States and New Zealand, where she continues to mentor others navigating transition and recovery.
