Dennis White served in the U.S. Army between 1966 and 1996 with foreign tours in Korea, Vietnam, and Germany. After attaining the enlisted rank of staff sergeant, he was commissioned from Engineer Officer Candidate School and retired as a lieutenant colonel, U.S. Army Reserve.
