Sloan Green flew the C-17 and the MQ-9 Reaper while serving on active duty in the Air Force from 2007 to 2019. He is now a part-time pilot, part-time writer, and full-time stay-at-home dad in his hometown of Anchorage, Alaska. He is working on a novel loosely based on his experiences flying armed drones for the Air Force.
