DonateWilliam "Kyle" Carpenter is a Marine veteran and Purple Heart recipient of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. He was wounded on November 21, 2010 while attempting to shield a fellow Marine from a grenade blast. On May 19, 2014 Kyle became the eighth and youngest living Medal of Honor recipient.
