Rick Kiernan is a retired Army colonel with 26 years of service as a paratrooper, infantryman, and public affairs officer. He served in Vietnam and in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. Other key assignments included the Pentagon, former Soviet Union, Germany, Alaska, and Hawaii. He is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and the University of South Carolina, where he is a Distinguished Alumnus.
